From November 17 to 20, the Eastside Culture Crawl takes place at 78 buildings in East Vancouver.

The annual aesthetic adventure opens studios, homes, and garages throughout East Vancouver to showcase the works created by local painters, sculptors, potters, photographers, glassblowers, and furniture designers.

Local art fans can check out creations from over 475 participating artists in an area bounded by Columbia Street, 1st Avenue, Victoria Drive, and the waterfront.

Now in its 20th year, Eastside Culture Crawl executive director Esther Rausenberg says that the event is a "melding of the resilient and determined artists who have been with us since the beginning, and the youthful and vibrant new artists who shed an exhilarating light on our city's great future."

Highlights this year include a film- and video-projection series, show-and-tell-style artist talks, and a juried exhibition and preview showcasing the wide range of works presented by artists from the past 20 years.
