Set to open in 2025, Oakridge Park has confirmed more retailers alongside a series of summer events.

With the goal of transforming the current Oakridge mall area into a new city centre, Oakridge Park will boast several new condo developments, creative spaces, publicly-accessible indoor and outdoor areas, and an extensive food hall. Of course, there will also be a mall, with confirmed retailers including Vancouver-based Arc’teryx, Aritzia, and Lululemon, as well as high-end luxury fashion houses Maison Margiela, Prada, and Christian Louboutin. Additional announcements are expected leading up to the grand opening.

In the meantime, Oakridge Park is drumming up excitement with events programming at the Fairmont Pacific Rim’s front entrance patio, which is being turned into an immersive garden bar fit with picnic-themed food and drinks from July 4 to September 2.

On Fridays, the Oakridge Summer Social patio will convert to an outdoor cinema, with proceeds going towards the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. And on select days, you can catch up on Wimbledon matches when the space transforms into a tennis hub, complete with a themed pop-up bar (and outfits to match, no doubt).

Here is the complete lineup of events:

• July 4, 5, 11, and 12, 4pm to 7pm: Wimbledon Happy Hour, reservations recommended
• July 12, 19, 26, and August 2, 8:30pm: Cinema in the Park, $20, tickets available online
• August 16 to 18 and August 30 to September 2, 11am to 3pm: Family Summer Portraits, $50, session bookings available online
