The thing about Vancouver is that we love our bikes. From bike lanes galore to multiple bike-specific clubs popping up on Strava, not only is the two-wheeler an effective way to get around, it’s also sustainable. And fun!

To highlight the sporty side of biking, Tour de Concord will once again take to the seawall for a family-friendly charity race in support of St. Paul’s Foundation, with youth, amateur, and pro races throughout the day. The event takes place on a closed 900-metre course with up to $5,000 in prize money up for grabs.

Not much of a speed demon? Worry not; the festival also features a beer garden, plenty of food trucks, and bike vendors providing safety checks and tune-ups for the more casual riders.
