Last year, the Straight reported that Rosemont Manor may be the most affordable place to buy a home in Vancouver.

The January 26, 2021 account noted that based on tracking by Vancouver real estate site fisherly.com, the average selling price in the Mount Pleasant apartment building  at the time was $275,000.

The three-storey Rosemont Manor is located at 36 East 14th Avenue, about two blocks west of Main Street.

Title to properties in this building is leasehold pre-paid strata.

This means a strata property where the lease has been paid in advance.

On February 2 this year, another apartment in Rosemont Manor changed hands.

Unit 210 sold at its listed price of $250,000.

The sale happened 14 days after the 580-square-foot condo went on the market on January 19.

“Budget living at its best at Rosemont Manor,” stated the listing by Century 21 In Town Realty.

The lease for this piece of Vancouver real estate has been prepaid until 2073.

Monthly maintenance for Unit 201 is $436.47, which some may find a bit stiff.

      Here’s a look.
