Famous as the longest-serving Weekend Update anchor in the history of Saturday Night Live, Colin Jost will bring his standup to Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre on June 23. Tickets go on sale March 15 at 10am.

Born in New York, the 41-year-old Jost joined SNL as a writer in 2005, doing standup on the side. The man sometimes known as Mr. Scarlett Johansson took over the Weekend Update chair in 2014 after the departure of Seth Meyers to late-night television. He’s also served as a head writer on the show, the first time from 2012 to 2015, and the second from 2017 until 2022 along with his Weekend Update co-anchor Michael Che.

Jost’s work on Saturday Night Live has led to five Writers Guild Awards, two Peabodys, and 12 Emmy nominations.

A 2020 memoir titled A Very Punchable Face: A Memoir, earned Jost praise for being as self-deprecating as he is funny.
