Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have plenty of reasons to celebrate, not only because they delivered a royal baby boy this morning.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot in a highly anticipated wedding ceremony watched by millions in May 2018, and will soon mark their first anniversary on May 19.

To commemorate the special occasion, local liquor retailer JAK’s Beer Wine Spirits will be offering a limited quantity of the wine served at the royal couple’s wedding last year.

In collaboration with Vino Allegro Wine Imports, JAK’s is importing the 2016 Olivier Leflaive Bourgogne Les Sétilles, a chardonnay from a small vineyard in France’s Burgundy region.

The rare wine will be available at all of JAK’s 14 locations on May 17 at 2 p.m., with tastings taking place at the South Granville, Williams Lake, Penticton, Campbell River, Maple Ridge, and Coquitlam stores.

It will retail for $53.99 per bottle, with a limit of two bottles per customer.

“The royal connection has already created a big buzz among our guests and staff, and especially now with the birth of Meghan and Harry's baby boy!” Lynn Coulthard, head wine and spirit buyer at JAK’s, said in a press statement. “But Les Sétilles will live up to the hype as it’s an elegant chardonnay.”
