We West Coasters love being physically active almost as much as we love our beer. Now, we can enjoy both at the same time: a Beer Bike Tour is here.

Canadian Craft Tours is running its beer cycle tour out of North Vancouver.

Fourteen people can pedal their way from brewery to brewery during the two-and-a-half-hour tour.

The first of its kind in the Lower Mainland, the Beer Bike Tour starts at a pick-up location that’s a two-minute walk from Lonsdale Quay and the SeaBus terminal. It makes its way throughout the Lonsdale area, stopping at three breweries or craft-beer venues.

The bike can seat 14 people.

The tour, $45 per person, includes the bike ride, guide, and best available seating at each stop. The cost of actual beer to drink isn’t included. The operators recommend people bring a growler, though, to fill for after the ride.

Drinking while pedalling is not allowed.

The tours also operate in Calgary and Kelowna.
