61 artisan markets and pop-up shops happening in Metro Vancouver this holiday season

    1 of 13 2 of 13

Braving the mall during Christmas is no small feat. With hoards of frantic shoppers flooding parking lots, corriders, and store after store after store, you should consider yourself lucky if you finish the day without a breakdown. Even luckier if you're able to nab every gift on your list without facing some sort of out-of-stock situation that sends you speeding to another location across town.

But the holiday season doesn't have to be spent relaying product descriptions to sales associates or even at the mall for that matter. With so many artisan markets, craft fairs, and pop-up shops happening around town over the next month, Vancouverites have a wealth of options for gifts—ones that are one-of-a-kind, handmade, and come with a heartwarming story.

Below, a whopping 57 holiday shopping events, which take place in Vancouver, Coquitlam, New Wesminster, and everywhere in between, to mark on your calendar.
