Ah, summer in Vancouver—those glorious months when the sun’s out, the sky’s blue, and everyone magically forgets that rain exists. Nothing will make you fall back in love with Vancouver more than a warm, clear day in the city. Those mountains? That ocean? Cold beer on a patio? C’mon!

There are forever summer staples, like getting roasted at Kits Beach, eating takeout at Jonathan Rogers Park, and hiking Quarry Rock (with a Honey Doughnut for a reward). But this year, we wanted to go deeper. We wanted to uncover lesser-known spots and share some well-kept summer secrets. For that, we tapped some of the city’s tastemakers and cool kids for their personalized guides to the sunny season.
