Will Vancouver be the location for a third Archie Comics–based TV series?

We’ll have to wait and see but it's all systems go on a pilot for a new Archieverse series.

The musical dramedy Katy Keene will follow the lives of four twentysomething Archie Comics characters who aspire to achieve career success in fashion, on Broadway, and in the music industry in New York City.

The Katy Keene character—who is described as a fashion model, singer, and actress—first appeared in Archie Comics in the 1940s before she was given her own title in 1949.

Archie Comics chief creative officer and Riverdale showrunner Robert Aguirre-Sacasa, posted the news on social media.

Casting for the show hasn’t been announced yet, and the production has not appeared yet on any screen production lists for B.C.

Riverdale fans should also take note that, as with The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, there aren’t any plans for crossovers to introduce the series and the show will be set several years after the timeline in Riverdale.
