Islands Folk Festival celebrates its 40th anniversary this year

      This year, the Cowichan Folk Guild is set to celebrate a milestone anniversary: 40 years of its Islands Folk Festival

      Held on Providence Farm in Duncan, the annual Islands Folk Festival brings together the community to see local and international performers across five stages, while also providing interactive workshops, kid-friendly zones, and onsite camping.

      “We are incredibly excited to mark the 40th anniversary of the Islands Folk Festival,” artistic director Jack Connolly says in a statement. “Providence Farm has been the perfect backdrop for this event, and we look forward to welcoming both returning and new festival-goers for a weekend of fantastic music, food, and camaraderie.”
