Looking for an excuse to get out of Vancouver for an evening? 

Evergreen Cultural Centre, situated along the picturesque Lafarge Lake in Coquitlam, is dedicated to sharing the performing arts with its community (and yes, it’s easy to get to on the SkyTrain). For the second year, the centre is using its lake backdrop to showcase local talent with the return of its open-air performance series.

From July 8 to August 30, Evergreen Cultural Centre will host a free one-hour performance in Town Centre Park every Monday through Friday. The artists will perform genres ranging from upbeat jazz and pop to culturally significant Indigenous and Celtic music.
