A 64-year-old Nevada terrorist holed up on the 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay hotel started firing on a crowd at a country music festival on October 1.

By the time, police burst into Stephen Paddock's room, more than 50 people were dead and at least 200 were injured.

The Nevada resident was dead by the time the cops arrived.

Meanwhile, Las Vegas hospitals are filled with people suffering from gunshot wounds.

CNN has reported that police "are confident they have located Marilou Danley, who was travelling with the suspect". They also believe Paddock was acting alone.

The shooting spree occurred just after 10 p.m. as about 30,000 people were attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival.

Jason Aldean was performing at the time. He and his crew are safe.
