A West Vancouver home by the ocean finally sold nearly six years after it was listed on the market.

The waterfront home at 4351 Erwin Drive finally went for $18 million.

The purchase price was a far cry from its original listing price of $42.8 million on October 15, 2015.

The 2015 listing lasted until January 1, 2017 at the same price before it expired.

The purchase was monitored by real-estate sites Zealty.ca and fisherly.com.

Tracking showed that the two-storey home returned on the market on October 13, 2020.

The seller’s agent, Angell, Hasman & Associates Realty Ltd., pegged the new listing price at $30 million.

On March 3, 2021, the price was reduced to $23,989,000.

After 160 days on the market, the six-bedroom, eight-bath residence sold on March 22, 2021 for $18 million.

B.C. Assessment placed the 2021 value of 4351 Erwin Drive at $17,640,000 as of July 1, 2020.
