Comedian Trevor Noah delivered some scorching jokes at the April 30 White House Correspondents' Association dinner.

Noah's targets included everyone from Joe Biden and Donald Trump to CNN, Tucker Carlson, and the New York Times.

Biden, he noted, recently caused controversy by suggesting that Vladimir Putin should not remain in office. But then Noah quipped that everyone in the Kremlin relaxed after they were told that Biden never gets anything done.

Noah descibed the dinner as a "super-spreader event", noting that even Dr. Anthony Fauci—who is America's infectious-disease czar—had refused to attend.

At one point, Noah asked White House press secretary Jen Psaki how many times she had contracted COVID-19...and why this happens so often.

Noah also skewered some high-profile senators.

"Who would have thought that Kyrstin Sinema, the first openly bisexual Congressperson, is a closeted Republican?" he said.

Another Democratic senator, Joe Manchin, was described as the most powerful person in the United States—even though Biden was seated just a short distance from Noah.

He also accused Florida governor Ron DeSantis—a potential Republican presidential candidate—of banning math textbooks so nobody will know how to count the votes.
