Listed in 2018 for $11.8 million, West Vancouver mansion sold $5 million less at $6.8 million
A mansion in West Vancouver’s swanky British Properties sold after almost two years.
RE/MAX Masters Realty listed 1265 Queens Avenue on November 11, 2018 for $11,880,000.
It did not sell.
A buyer finally came, and took the seven-bedroom and eight-bath residence on October 16, 2020.
The purchase price was almost $5 million less.
According to tracking by fisherly.com, a real-estate information site, the house sold for $6,800,000.
The home's features include an heated outdoor pool, sauna, wine room, and elevator.
Based on B.C. Assessment record, the residence’s 2020 valuation as of July 1, 2019 totalled $6,117,000.
Again based on fisherly.com tracking, when the 7,529-square-foot mansion did not sell in 2018, Behroyan & Associates Real Estate Services took over the next year.
Behroyan & Associates placed the residence on the market a number of times, starting with a listing on April 2, 2019 for $11,880,000.
More listings followed with reduced prices.
The luxury property was listed again on October 14, 2020 for $6,999,000. Later in the same day, the price was reduced to $6,988,000.
It sold after two days on October 16 for $6.8 million.
