Celebrate dear ole dad (or the father figure in your life) this Father’s Day by taking him to one of the many restaurants celebrating dads with limited-edition offerings for June 16. Here are a few of the unique menu options available in Vancouver.

      Minami

If your dad is keen on seafood, make a reservation at Yaletown’s Minami for a platter featuring the best that the ocean offers. The Father’s Day Kaisen Platter is a weekend exclusive that serves up fresh oysters, lobster tail, crab claws, jumbo shrimp, sashimi (tuna belly, salmon, yellowtail, skipjack tuna), and two dressed poke spoons.

The platter is priced at $95. Reservations can be made here.

      Botanist

Botanist offers a three-course brunch this Father’s Day weekend. The menu features classic brunch fare paired with delicious meaty options, including an oven-roasted lamb leg, prime rib, and ham. Each guest will also be greeted with a glass of sparkling wine.

Brunch will cost you $89 per person. Reservations can be made here.

      Fairmont Vancouver Airport

For the dad who loves BBQ, take him to the Fairmont at the Vancouver Airport. Here, you’ll find a handcrafted BBQ tower paired with barrel-aged bourbon old fashioned. Best of all, there is a kid-friendly platter available for your little ones, too.

The experience costs $105 per person for ages 12 and above and $30 per person for ages six to 12. Reservations can be made here.

      Aburi Market

Stay in with your dad and treat him to a home-cooked meal with prepared kits from Aburi Market. These specialty kits feature A5 Wagyu steaks in a platter with three different cuts, or A5 Iwate Wagyu yakiniku cuts, ideal for tossing on the grill.

These kits are priced at $150 and can be ordered online for pickup, or for delivery via Uber Eats.

      Arc Restaurant

Let your father eat to his heart’s content at Arc at the Fairmont Waterfront, which offers a bottomless brunch on the weekend. With small plates of brunch classics, you won’t have to decide if you’re team savoury or team sweet when it comes to brunch. Think: menu items such as chicken and waffles, pull-apart cinnamon bread, eggs Benedict, and smoothies. For something extra special, Arc is adding house-smoked beef ribs to the menu for one day only.

Bottomless brunch is priced at $65 per person. Reservations can be made here.
