Get your swimsuits ready and head to the Aldergrove Credit Union Community Centre in Langley this summer for a movie night like no other. 

Throughout July, August, and September, the community centre is offering a unique swimming experience: movies in the pool.

At these dive-in movie nights, the pool transforms into a cozy cinema. Guests are invited to bring their flotation devices and enjoy a family-friendly film on a big screen, either floating in the pool or lounging poolside. The movie lineup includes The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Puss in Boots, Minions: the Rise of Gru, and a yet-to-be-announced film.

And if you’re looking to get a little boozy without any kids running around, Sip ‘n Dips is a 19+ night with alcoholic beverages served onsite (and included in the registration fee). Even with a two-drink maximum and no kids allowed, we still can’t promise that no one will pee in the pool.

There are also two designated youth nights for teens who are too cool to hang out with the adults or the kids. 

Dive-In Movie Nights 

When: July 20, August 3, August 24, 7pm to 9pm; September 7, 6pm to 8pm 

Tickets: $7.20 

Sips ‘n Dips (19+)

When: July 6, July 27, August 1, and August 31, 7pm to 9pm; September 14 and September 21, 6pm to 8pm

Tickets: $17.50 per person with one drink ticket, $22.26 per person with two drink tickets

Youth Takeover Night (ages 13 to 18)

When: July 13 and August 10, 7pm to 9pm  

Tickets: $6.40
