In celebration of Indigenous Peoples Day (June 21), Stanley Park is hosting a free movie screening.

June 22 will see Ceperley Meadow turn into an al fresco movie theatre with a screening of Slash/Back: a science fiction film about a group of Inuit girls trying to make it to a party. The only catch? There is also an alien invasion going on. Set in Nunavut, this family-friendly film has your favourite horror movie tropes mixed with a bit of ensemble comedy.

Before the screening, Indigenous food truck Tradish and other Indigenous vendors will be at the park, along with traditional song and dance performances by the Tsatsu Stalqayu Coastal Wolf Pack.
