An RCMP forensic artist has created a facial image of the suspect in a daylight homicide in Surrey on August 9.

A passenger in a taxi, David Chavez-Jara, died after being shot in the 14800 block of 108 Avenue.

The cab driver was sent to hospital with serious injuries.

On Augut 26, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team released the drawing of the suspect's face in the hope that someone could identify him.
