Surrey RCMP seek witnesses of altercation and stabbing in Newton area

      After a stabbing took place in the Netwon area of Surrey last night, Surrey RCMP are searching for witnesses to help determine what happened.

      Around 9:57 p.m. on December 18, police responded to a report about a male stabbed in the 7600 block of 128th Street in Surrey, according to the Surrey RCMP.

      Officers who arrived at the location found a male victim suffering from potentially life-threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

      Surrey RCMP are canvasing for witnesses of an altercation in the area and anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
